Yesterday I was lying beside my mum when she suddenly started admiring my varnished fingernails and started to talk about my life if I ever get married. Haha.

My mum: Wah. Your fingernails now so nice hor. Nice now got what use? Must nice after you get married mah. If you want to get married don't go and marry someone around your age. He dun have stable financial useless one. Want to get married must marry someone who can support you and your spendings. By then, you can go 'mai dong xi chi dong xi mai dong xi chi dong xi' (eat and shop) all day long.

Me: Then I must marry someone 8 or 10 years older than me right? By then his financial status should be able to support me and let me lead good life liao mah.

My mum: Ya. Then make sure you marry someone who can let you lead a good life such that if you give birth to a baby, you don't need to look after it. Other people will help you look after it. Then also no need to do housework one. Lead life like a 'tai tai'.

Me: You think I want then will have meh? There must be someone who wants me first mah.
